Orders & shipping
How long does shipping take?+
We dispatch within 3–5 working days. After dispatch, delivery in India typically takes 2–7 working days, depending on your pincode. You'll receive tracking by email.
Do you ship internationally?+
We ship to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, and Singapore on request. Write to us at hello@ayurchetna.com before ordering so we can quote shipping for your country.
Is shipping free?+
Yes, on all India orders over ₹1,499. Below that, a flat ₹99 contribution covers carrier costs.
Can I track my order?+
Absolutely. The moment your parcel leaves us, you receive an email with a tracking number and a link to follow it.
Returns & refunds
What is your return policy?+
You may request a return within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Hygiene-sensitive items (combs that have touched hair, bottles used to drink from) cannot be returned unless defective.
How do I start a return?+
Write to hello@ayurchetna.com with your order number. We'll reply within 2 working days with return-shipping instructions. Please don't send items back without contacting us first.
When will I get my refund?+
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 working days of us receiving the returned item. Your bank may take a further 3–5 days to credit your account.
Products & care
How do I care for the copper bottle?+
Clean it every 7–10 days with lemon halves dipped in salt — gently scrub the inside, rinse with warm water, and air-dry. Avoid dishwashers and refrigerators. Don't drink continuously from the same fill beyond 12 hours.
Is the bamboo bottle dishwasher-safe?+
No — hand-wash only. The inner glass can be rinsed with warm soapy water, but do not soak the bamboo shell or put it in the dishwasher. Air-dry upright.
Why neem wood for the comb?+
Neem is traditionally regarded as antibacterial and antifungal — qualities Ayurveda calls upon for daily hair care. The wide wooden teeth glide through hair without static, distributing the scalp's natural oils.
Are the jute bags really biodegradable?+
Yes — both the jute fibre and the cotton handles are 100% natural and will return to the earth in a few years if composted. The bags themselves last for years of regular use.

Are these products medical?+
No. Everything we sell is for daily lifestyle use, not medical treatment. If you have a health condition, please consult a qualified practitioner before changing your routine.
Can I really change my Dosha?+
Your Prakriti (innate constitution) does not change — but your Vikriti (current imbalance) does, every day. The point of Ayurvedic practice is to bring Vikriti closer to Prakriti.
